‘Sun here, everyone freezing’ is a cinematic narrative exploring themes of unity, impermanence, and the spirituality underpinning Palestine’s endurance.
This film is an act of solidarity with people living in all kinds of conflicts, and an expression of despair and deep admiration for their strength and togetherness.
SURFACING
Surfacing is a piece inspired by notions of transitions, cycles & liminalities.
Surfacing is the third solo release, following Disjecta Membra (TXT-05, 2021) and Ligesom Rigtige Mennesker (TXT-01, 2020), both released by Messell on Textur.
THE STATE WE ARE IN
This film is an exploration of isolation - its permanency, and temporality.
The State We’re In is a constant reminder that time is slowly running out, as we find ourselves facing the prospect of becoming one with the ocean. Despite political climates, we all once again become ocean. Audio- recordings by Ingerlise Oellgaard and music composed by glitch-electronic artist Messell.

HABITAT
The Soil Repository is new land, equivalent to 1% of the total Copenhagen area. Before it became the Soil Repository it was ocean. Then an iron fence was pounded into the ocean floor and thi filling began in two sections: one for clean soil and one for contaminated soil. After 8-9 years of filling it is now complete, lying on the outermost poin t of the Copenhagen Northern Harbour. Photographers: Ingerlise Øllgaard and Mikkel Ulriksen.
